The meaning of life is getting up every morning to face another losing battle with the world.  It’s losing that battle every day, sleeping eight hours, and waking up to lose again.  All because the war isn’t over until the day you die so there is still hope for a single victory.

            The meaning of life is standing up against overwhelming odds and still believing you have a chance.  It’s knowing the world will eventually kill you but fighting the battles regardless.  Because very once in awhile you win; every once in awhile you can get the jump on them. 

            The meaning of life is to not give up.  It’s never letting life see the beating it is giving you.  It’s never giving the world satisfaction.  It’s never showing your bruises.  The meaning of life is to live in spite of life. 

            The meaning of life is to stand on the outside, completely alone if necessary.  It’s a one-man war against an army of six billion.  It’s one man against everything that is wrong. 

            The meaning of life is to rise up to get the shit kicked out of you again.
