Books I have enjoyed recently...

Kingdom Come by Mark Waid and Alex Ross - An apocalypse with DC Comics superheroes.  I recently wrote a paper on this graphic novel for my Apocalyptic Traditions class where I argue this is as valid an example of an apocalypse as the Revelation of St. John, click here for the conclusion.  Alex Ross is one of the greatest illustrators around.

An American Haunting: Bell Witch by Brent Monahan (editor) - Much better than the movie version.  Supposedly the journal of a school teacher who experienced the only documented haunting in America that resulted directly in death.  The Bell Witch turns out to be a pretty cool anti-hero.  Quick read but enjoyable.

Currently reading - A History of Philosophy Vol. 1: Greece and Rome by Frederick Copleston
